Battle of the Bands Final Heads to St Mary’s Chambers This August
Standout acts from three heats compete for £500 cash prize & Battle of the Bands title in Rawtenstall.
St Mary’s Chambers in Rawtenstall will host the Grand Final of its Battle of the Bands competition on Friday 28 August 2026, bringing together the standout acts from three heats for one final night of live music.
The competition has been running across a series of heats showcasing local talent, with the successful acts now set to return to the St Mary’s stage and compete for the title of Battle of the Bands Champion.
There’s also a £500 cash prize up for grabs for the winning act, alongside additional runners-up prizes. The final will feature guest judges and will be hosted by Dave Reader.
The full list of finalists is still to be announced, giving local music fans another announcement to keep an eye out for in the run-up to the event.
Taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the final offers another opportunity to catch some of the emerging bands currently playing across the Lancashire scene, all under one roof at one of Rossendale’s established live music venues.
Doors open at 6:45pm, and the event is open to all ages, although anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
