The Forge FTV Launches Test Phase for 24/7 Music Broadcast Channel 'FTV 24/7', Calls for Original Music Video Submissions
Lancashire platform streams extensive vault archive while preparing for scheduled TV programming; local heavyweights Shadow Company become first act to enter 24/7 video rotation.
BURNLEY, UK — Independent media platform and live promoter The Forge FTV has officially entered the public testing phase of FTV 24/7, an always-on, 24-hour YouTube broadcast station dedicated to elevating grassroots and independent music across Lancashire and beyond.
During this initial testing phase, the stream is continuously broadcasting The Forge FTV’s deep back-catalogue of multi-camera live performances filmed across Northwest venues. The broadcast engine features a dynamic on-screen ticker promoting upcoming live gigs, local venue listings (including Burnley’s flagship Sanctuary Rock Bar), and direct ticket hubs.
In addition to vault performances, The Forge FTV has officially opened submissions for unsigned and independent artists to submit original music videos for inclusion in the broadcast rotation. Lancashire groove-metal outfit Shadow Company, fresh off their performance on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Festival 2026, have become the very first band to submit videos to the platform, with two of their original music videos now live in the 24/7 rotation.
The current test phase is laying the operational groundwork for FTV 24/7 to transition into a fully scheduled broadcast grid in the near future. Planned programming includes: • Themed & Genre-Specific Blocks: Dedicated heavy, alternative, and acoustic evening showcases. • Weekly FTV Live Sessions: Premieres of newly filmed, multi-cam gig recordings. • The Circuit Episodes: Feature-length coverage of Northwest venues, tour diaries, and scene deep-dives. • Original Shows & Features: A music-based quiz show, band interviews, artist spotlights, and The FTV Podcast.
"We are using this test phase to prove the broadcast tech, build continuous viewer watch time, and create a permanent stage for independent music," said Aaron Calland, Founder of The Forge FTV. "Having Shadow Company jump straight on board with their videos shows the hunger bands have for continuous visibility. Whether a fan tunes in at midday or 2 AM, they are discovering genuine regional talent and seeing exactly how to buy tickets for their next local gig."
